About the Album:
Sometimes you can justify an album cover by saying it looked cool at the time, this is not one of these cases...the picture was taken in a field outside Calgary. "Tiger" was a purebred German Shepard guard dog, who scared the daylights out of me. I needed a haircut and it was windy. But what the hell, it was the seventies and I was still in party mode.

The album sounded pretty good, mainly because of the players and the ears of Joe Kozak. He always had a great ear for real country music. Most of the guys who helped us out with this one were Edmonton studio musicians and good friends, who made the music sound pretty darn good.

This was our first attempt at a mainly original album. I wrote a couple of the tunes, Whitehayes Mackenworth wrote a couple, Dick Damron wrote one, and R. Harlan Smith wrote one.
