About the Album:
My first foray into recording was Introducing the Canadian Club Entertainers. We had been together about two weeks when Billy Young and I went into Joe Kozak's KORL Sound Studio, located in the Centurion Tower in Edmonton, Alberta. Billy and I split the sides on this album, and it was recorded in roughly three hours. It was done on a two-track recorder, straight off the floor, using a spring reverb. Dennis Landry and Don Dueck rounded out the band at that time, and this album was sold off stage at bar gigs.

We sold over 500 in about two weeks, despite the garage band quality of the recording. In those days, it was a novelty to have an album, and they sold for four dollars each. Our wholesale was about a buck, so it was a pretty good source of income.

The cover was one of the stock designs available from the reproduction company. A band photo would have been too expensive. After all, we were making about 400 bucks a week for the four of us!
