About the Album:
Recorded at Touchwood studios, the album is our latest, and if not our best, definitely one of the top three. Friends Freddie Pelletier, Billy Phelps, and Calvin Vollrath out did themselves putting the finishing touches on this project. Wayne and AAron were solid as ever, and the material is strong and uncompromising. This is pure country, much like "Not Suitable" and if you are one of those people who will go to any length to find the real thing, look no further.

Johnny Gasparic outdid himself getting me the sound and feel that I wanted. That's why I like working with him so much. Most engineers make you sound the way THEY want you to sound; Johnny makes sure you sound the way YOU want to sound. I would highly recommend him and Touchwood Studio to anyone who wants real creative control of their music production.

Special thanks to Fiddlin' Frenchy Burke for his great arrangements, which I stole and changed ever so little (Big Mammou and Colinda) and to rock-a-billy pioneer, ex-Cricket Jerry Naylor, who turned me on to the swing arrangement of Hank Cochrane's "Don't You Ever Get Tired of Hurtin' Me" way back in the 70s at the Ranchman's in Calgary. Aaron again outdoes himself with his original "What If" and his cover of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi". Wayne tears up the Tex Williams standard "Smoke that Cigarette".

And to top it all off, the bonus track, a tribute to my childhood hero, Buck Owens. Enjoy!
